Davian Rydell
I was a perfectly functioning member of the elite. A respected professor. A successful lawyer. A good father. I thought I had everything under control. But then she entered Maplecrest Law School. The first woman here. An ink stain in the eyes of the other professors. An author. Just like me.
Quillon Veritas
The lawyers in Maplecrest have everything. Money. Influence. Storybook families. I’m a parasite who doesn’t belong here. A woman. A nobody. An author. Just like him.
Will they break the law or will the law break them?

Where it all happens
Maplecrest Law School
Two authors trapped in the system of law. Two sides of a scale that should never fall out of balance…
Maplecrest is an old-money society of lawyers: money, influence, storybook families and dark family secrets. Quillon Veritas enters it undercover, as a law student with a fake ID and the first woman there. Davian Rydell, a respected professor and successful lawyer, thought he had everything under control. Then she entered Maplecrest Law School.
The driven creator and his crumbling muse.
Where ends obsession? Where starts abuse?
